Join us at Mt. Hope Cemetery, South Main Street
on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Noon
We will begin with a Wreath Laying Ceremony, followed by the placement of wreaths on Veterans’ graves at all four cemeteries.
Donations are gratefully accepted to help cover the cost of the wreaths.

Planting And Dedication Of A Liberty Tree
YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE PLANTING OF A LIBERTY TREE!
The event begins our local celebration of the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the Revolutionary War. In addition, we will honor the formation of Captain Joseph Wood’s “Israel’s Creek” Militia Company of November 29, 1775.

Train Museum is Open the Second Saturday of Each Month
The Woodsboro Historical Society’s Train Museum is now open to the public.
The museum may be visited on the SECOND Saturday of each month from 1 to 4 PM EST.
Stop by to experience the expertly restored Train Station, along with an impressive collection of era memorabilia and photographs of Woodsboro throughout the ages.
Woodsboro Historical Society Monthly Meeting
The Woodsboro Historical Society Meeting is held on the THIRD Wednesday of every month at 7 PM EST.
The meeting is held in the Train Station Museum located at 6 Woodsboro Creagerstown Rd in Woodsboro.
